About DreamCoast Roast


In 1995 I was waiting on my flight at O'Hare Airport in Chicago and stopped by a kiosk for a cup of coffee.  It was the most delicious cup of coffee I ever had and  I begged the owner to tell me what she did to make this coffee so delicious. She said "I only use freshly roasted beans". 
After much searching I found a local roaster and began my wonderful relationship with fresh roasted coffee.

The passion for coffee grew and I  began roasting my own beans.  I started with a cast iron skillet and 'graduated' to a  popcorn popper eventually settling on small batch  drum  as my preferred method of roasting. As the passion and hobby grew I began roasting for friends and family and their friends and family. And here we are at DreamCoast Roast, the best way I know to share my love of and the joy of freshly roasted coffee with as many people as possible.

Remember: A sip of fresh roasted coffee just taste better!
